File Name Errors on Mac

Content Cloud does not support 'new line' and '\' (backslash) characters in file names, intentionally (because they can lead to problems upstream and downstream of the transfer and are also often used to prevent a security breach).

Therefore, if you have a file on your Mac that has new-lines, the Aspera Connect log would show a message that it was rejected.

On the server we only see the 'no such file' error.

If you have already encountered this error, you can submit an error log by navigating to the window menu and selecting "Open log folder...".
